Mrs. Dreyzina received her LL.M. in International business law from the Central European University (Budapest, Hungary), her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in International law from the Baku State University (Azerbaijan).

During her studies Ms. Dreyzina successfully participated in reputable international competitions, including the elimination rounds of the 16th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, the Shearman & Sterling International rounds of the 2006 Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, and the Jean-Pictet Competition on International Humanitarian Law.

Ms. Dreyzina has over 20 years of experience in the Azerbaijani legal services market. Her professional experience includes a legal internship at BP, positions at GRATA Azerbaijan international law firm, and Azerenerji JSC, where she served as Deputy Head of the Investment & Strategy Department and Senior Legal Adviser.

Her practice has focused on contract law, banking and finance transactions, PPP, capital markets, project finance and international arbitration. At Azerenerji JSC, she was responsible for international transactions including cross-border power sales and transit, power plant construction projects, and loan agreements of up to US $500 million.

Mrs. Dreyzina is fluent in Azerbaijani, English and Russian.

Lachin Gasimov graduated from Nakhchivan State University with a specialization in law. His areas of specialization include local legislation, alternative dispute resolution and reviewing citizens’ appeals.

As a practitioner, he gained experience as an assistant to a Senior Adviser at the Nizami District Court. He also worked as Secretary of the Pilot Mediation Center at Yasamal District Court and continued his work in alternative dispute resolution.

He has been a member of the Notem team since April 2019. His main practice areas are corporate, contract and migration law. He is also a certified mediator in family, labor and commercial mediation.

Lachin is fluent in Azerbaijani and Turkish.

Ms. Aliyeva received her LL.M. in German Law for International Students from the University of Passau, as well as her master’s degree in State Law from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Law from the same academy.

During her studies, Ms. Aliyeva gained practical experience at a regional court and the Food Safety Institute of Azerbaijan, working on civil and corporate law, contract drafting and review, and preparation of legal documentation.

Her professional practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, contract law, migration law, regulatory compliance and legal advisory services.

Ms. Aliyeva is fluent in Azerbaijani, Russian, English and German.

Mr. Garayev is a member of the Azerbaijan Bar Association and has over five years of experience as an attorney-at-law. His practice focuses on litigation, corporate and commercial law, civil and family law, employment law, and property-related matters.

Mr. Garayev represents clients in complex commercial, corporate, civil and family disputes, providing legal advice and advocacy before courts and other public authorities.
