PARTICIPATION IN THE INITIAL MEDIATION SESSION WILL BE REQUIRED BEFORE APPLYING TO THE COURT IN CONNECTION WITH INDIVIDUAL, LABOR AND FAMILY DISPUTES
The Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 1555-VQ of March 29, 2019 "On Mediation" decides on 09.07.2021:
According to the decision “On Mediation” dated 09.07.2021, participation in the initial mediation session is required before applying to the court in connection with individual labor disputes.
According to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Mediation", it is necessary to attend a preliminary mediation session before going to court on commercial disputes, as well as problems arising from family and labor relations.
Disputes arising from family relations may be resolved through mediation in accordance with Article 26 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Mediation". "Before applying to the court on issues arising from family relations, it is required to participate in the initial mediation session in accordance with the rules established by the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Mediation ".
