A "TECHNOLOGY COMMERCIALIZATION AND TRANSFER CENTER" WILL BE ESTABLISHED
President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on the establishment of a "Technology Commercialization and Transfer Center" within the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Within fifteen days, the Cabinet of Ministers will establish a "Technology Commercialization and Transfer Center" (hereinafter - the Center) under the Intellectual Property Agency and will inform the President.
The center provides links between science and industry, mutual order and supply relations, technology transfer and commercialization of intellectual activity to increase the quality and application of inventive activity, serve to support innovative development, including startup projects, commercial and non-commercial research results - is a public legal entity involved in the provision of services for the transfer of technologies and projects to target markets, coordination of activities in this area, aimed at the transfer for commercial use, as well as to generate income from these results.
Within a month, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in consultation with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, will approve the organization and charter of the Center, and at the same time take steps to solve its material and technical problems.
The solution of the problems arising by this Decree is entrusted to the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
