Professional Experience

Mrs. Dreyzina received her LL.M. in International business law from the Central European University (Budapest, Hungary), her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in International law from the Baku State University (Azerbaijan).

During her studies Ms. Dreyzina has successfully participated in reputable international competitions such as elimination rounds of 16th Willem C. Vis international Commercial Arbitration Moot (Vienna, Austria), Shearman & Sterling International rounds of the 2006 Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition (Washington DC, United States of America) and Jean-Pictet Competition on International Humanitarian Law (Vrnjachka Banja, Serbia).

Ms. Dreyzina has over 10 years of experience in Azerbaijani legal services market. Her experience involves working in Grata Azerbaijan international law firm (member of GRATA International), Azerenerji JSC, the largest state-owned power utility company in the Republic of Azerbaijan and South Caucasus (worked as a Deputy Head of Investment & Strategy Department and Senior Legal Adviser).

During her work in GRATA Azerbaijan she focused her practice on contracts law, a wide range of banking & finance transactions, PPP, capital markets, project finance, international arbitration. Being employed by Azerenerji JSC, she was responsible for all international transactions of the company, including but not limited to negotiation of cross-border power sales and transit, power plant construction projects, negotiation and conclusion of loan agreements for up to US $500 million with international commercial banks, funds and institutions.

Mrs. Dreyzina is fluent in Azerbaijani, English and Russian.
